Functionalities

The platform is a generic question-answer system, where on basis of previously agreed exchange protocols, information can be exchanged between external prevention services and interested third parties.

Following functionalities are provided:

1. Request the current contact persons of a worker

This functionality makes it possible to request the current occupational physician and prevention advisor psychosocial aspects of a worker.

Available for:

This functionality is available to third parties with whom an agreement is made through web services

and through the web page.

In addition, everyone can request information about himself / herself via his / her eID.

2. Exchange worker medical file of a specific employer

When an employer changes ESPP, the files of the active workers are transferred from the old ESPP to the new one. This is foreseen in the regulations, was done earlier by the transfer of paper files, and has already been done digitally for several years, but the data flow was not yet automated. This development ensures this automation.

3. Exchange medical worker files of a specific worker

This development makes it possible for the ESPPs to request the worker medical file for one specific worker from other ESPPs.

This should ensure that the occupational physician who sees a worker for the first time can already get at that time a good picture of the worker's professional history. Being able to receive and study this information should also avoid unnecessary re-examination of workers who change employers quickly or frequently.

4. Ask if a worker should be examined for a specific workstation or ISCO code

When hiring a worker for a specific workstation or a position related to an ISCO code, this functionality can be used to inquire whether or not this worker still needs to be examined for the risks associated with the workstation or ISCO code.

Note: ISCO codes will only be available in all prevention services as from 2020.
